Tell us about a typical day in the life of a Retail Execution Manager.
I’ll usually get the day started with a team review of upcoming activity. We’ll then work through key communication packs to our stores, ensuring all the right information is pulled together to support stores in executing price & POS campaigns. More often than not, you’ll find us in store reviewing POS implementation, and looking for opportunities to simplify store processes.
What is your favourite part of the job?
It would be very hard to pick just one thing as I am truly lucky to love my role, I enjoy the fast pace of recruiting for the operation for Asda. As well as finding jobs for great candidates – I know this is cliché but it is true.
What advice do you have for anybody wanting to follow this career path?
Get to know how stores work, and the challenges and opportunities they face. Our stores are at the forefront of serving our customers – anything we can do to support them in this is crucial to our success.
