  • Provide overall operational control of a large forecourt estate, ensuring sites are safe, open, compliant and operational every day
  • Act as the operational leader for the network, owning key workstreams across pre-planned and reactive maintenance including: DSEARS, Wetstock Management, Pump Maintenance, Drainage and Contamination incidents, electrical maintenance, VR1 and VR2 compliance and testing.
  • Liaison with Primary Authority (London Fire Brigade) and other brigades across the UK
  • Ensure robust wetstock control, monitoring and response.
  • Oversee maintenance and asset reliability, prioritising safety‑critical systems and minimising site downtime
  • Lead incident and crisis response for serious operational events
  • Drive consistent site and supplier standards through clear operating procedures and performance reviews
  • Stakeholder management across multiple internal functions and external stakeholder groups, setting clear expectations, holding leaders to account to deliver operational excellence
  • Ensure operational readiness for audits, inspections and regulatory engagement including Petroleum Officers
  • Lead the effective rollout of operational changes across the estate, ensuring adoption and compliance.
  • Identify operational performance improvement actions and opportunities ranging from tactical to strategic.
