Delivery ManagerHead Office

We are seeking a highly organised, results-driven Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives across our Corporate Services portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery that aligns with business goals, driving collaboration across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate combines strong delivery and technical understanding with excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills. You will be comfortable overseeing multiple concurrent deliveries while ensuring predictable and successful outcomes.

Please be advised that this position requires attendance at Asda House in Leeds for a minimum of three days per week. We’re really looking forward to having you around!

What You’ll Love

  • Define delivery scope, objectives, timelines and alignment to business outcomes and priorities.
  • Develop and maintain delivery plans, ensuring transparency of progress, risks and performance metrics.
  • Lead and co-ordinate delivery across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment, accountability, and efficient execution.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Drive issue resolution and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams, business units, and external vendors.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, engineers, QA, and operations.
  • Manage expectations, provide clear communication, and ensure alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Ensure all solutions meet technical, security, governance and compliance standards.
  • Support teams in prioritisation, capacity planning, and dependency management.
  • Support requirements gathering, solution design, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure all deliverables are released in a service-ready state, including appropriate handover to support and operations teams.

What You’ll Need

  • Strong background in Delivery Management or Project Management within technology environments.
  • Proven ability to drive delivery across multiple workstreams, balancing priorities, timelines and dependencies.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Experience with delivery tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
  • Experience managing vendor or third-party relationships.
