Commercial Operations ExecFinance

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Commercial & Finance Operations Executive to join our team at Asda House in Leeds.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting multiple profit & loss accounts, helping to keep our financial operations running smoothly and efficiently. From managing purchase orders and invoices to working closely with suppliers and internal teams, you’ll be at the centre of day-to-day commercial and finance activity.

What You’ll Be Doing

Financial Administration & Purchase Orders

  • Raise and manage purchase orders (POs) in SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Track spend against budgets and highlight opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Maintain clear and accurate financial records for reporting and audit

P&L Support

  • Provide admin support across four P&L accounts
  • Assist with budget tracking, cost allocation, and reconciliations
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and management information

Invoices & Revenue

  • Support invoice creation and ensure revenue is recorded correctly
  • Monitor invoice progress and resolve any discrepancies
  • Ensure all financial transactions are processed on time

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, agencies, and internal teams
  • Ensure supplier invoices are processed and paid promptly
  • Investigate and resolve invoice queries to avoid delays
  • Monitor aged debt and follow up outstanding items

Process Improvement

  • Help coordinate processes with agencies and media partners
  • Identify ways to improve efficiency and streamline workflows
  • Support continuous improvement and best practice ways of working
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in an administrative, finance, or commercial support role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident working with financial systems (SAP experience is a plus)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Good Excel skills and confident using Microsoft Office
  • A proactive approach to problem solving
  • Understanding of purchase orders, invoicing, and accounts payable processes
  • Experience working with agencies, media providers, or commercial suppliers (desirable)
