The Insight Monetisation Senior Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of existing (e.g. Quantium, Neilsen, Circana… ) and new insight data assets to grow the revenues generated from insights, whilst also positively impacting supplier & retailer collaboration and ultimately leading to more customer focused decision making. You will also support the embedding of supplier enabled customer data and insight into the relevant business processes, driving consistency and maximising resource and efficiency.

This role is hybrid with 3 days per week minimum in Asda House in Leeds with Monday and Friday’s and one other day in the office.

You will work cross functionally across all areas of the business, creating value by identifying and pitching recommendations/ new propositions to the wider business (LSEleven, Commercial, Insight & Analytics etc) and then seeing these opportunities through in collaboration with key partners.

This role drives revenues from our data through partnering with 3rd parties to engage external companies (mainly Asda suppliers today) in purchasing and utilising relevant data and insights.

You will:

  • Be a self-starter working with in the LS Eleven team, being an expert in your business area owning the commercial updates at leadership meetings.
  • Own the strategic plan and revenue budget for your area working alongside the business owners to define their long-term plans and industry deep-dives to understand trends and opportunities.
  • Work with commercial and marketing teams in Asda to create a win-win-win approach for insight collaboration with suppliers and ultimately better customer experiences
  • Understand where supplier partners can play a role in Asda processes and plans and drive the collaborative customer focused approach
  • Understand and develop commercial opportunities for suppliers to access insights beyond where this might exist today
  • Develop a tiered approach for all suppliers to have the opportunity to access relevant insights
  • Develop strong relationships with partner agencies and key suppliers to understand their needs and realise growth opportunities
  • Support strategic initiatives as a key member of working groups, supporting on business cases and helping to define revenue streams
  • Be seen as an industry expert by Asda teams and the supplier partners and represent the business at industry events.

  • Relevant experience in an insight role/ understanding of the insights industry
  • You'll have a range of communication and influencing styles that you can deploy with your stakeholders and senior members of Asda's/ LS Eleven Leadership Team to drive performance and delivery to plans and commitments.
  • You will comfortably challenge, confront, and solve difficult situations whilst maintaining solid internal and external connections.
  • Be able to bring credibility and integrity to your business area through your commercial awareness and mindset of doing the right thing for our business, colleagues and customers.
  • A positive attitude and keen to develop – motivated to get the job done and to deliver to tight timelines; actively seeking accountability
  • Demonstrate inquisitive approach, an eye for detail and strong project management skills evolving in line with business and external requirements.
  • Management/ delivery of revenue targets
  • Ability to work from multiple locations as needed
  • An understanding of the retail and FMCG industry (Desirable)
