Asda's Cyber Security team are looking for an Intake Analyst to support our dedicated team. You will:

  • Be the initial contact for our business stakeholders for requests received across the Cyber Security team.
  • Support with the preparation of assessments, ensuring that all required information is available to support a comprehensive review by our team of Risk Analysts.
  • Manage customer expectations and requirements, working to understand the criticality of a request to support prioritisation
  • Build relationships with multiple internal business stakeholders.
  • Deliver all work to the highest standard, following and driving industry best practice at every opportunity.
  • Help to spread Cybersecurity Awareness across the business units.
  • Support in the delivery and processing of Security Service to ensure that requests are worked and resolved quickly and effusively.
  • Regularly suggest new initiatives and innovative ideas, to improve our ways of working and help to enhance the service and support we offer to our customers.
  • Support with reporting and clear management information for a wide range of leadership, including members of the Asda Executive.

  • A proven track record in a similar role, where building stakeholder relationships are key.
  • A keen interest in technology, with the ability to read and understand architecture diagrams, extract key information, and explain technical information at a level that can be understand by non-technical stakeholders.
  • A demonstrable knowledge of security technology and how it reduces or eliminates risk in an enterprise would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • Demonstrate a customer focussed attitude with excellent communication and networking (people) skills with an unfailingly enthusiastic approach to work with controlled urgency and good humour under pressure.
  • A passion for cybersecurity with the desire to continually learn, develop and innovate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
