Working as part of the Asda Brand Communications team, as a Campaign Coordinator your role will be split between execution of our Instore Asda Radio channel and Admin Support for the wider Campaign Team. You will be part of a team who puts the customer at the heart of the communications we create and are responsible for delivering impactful and effective creative, with relentless focus on excellence.
Supporting the Campaign Managers and Planners you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of the Campaign and Content strategy across paid and owned channels by providing admin support to the team and managing Asda Radio – the instore radio channel.
Own the twice weekly Campaign Squad & the weekly customer and commercial squad to support the overall wider customer team:
Ensure the invite/distribution list is kept up to date
Collate and send out agendas and minutes
Run the agenda during the call and ensure all actions are noted and assigned an owner
Admin support:
Own the distribution and management of the Weekly Pack & Speaker notes. Ensuring all key stakeholders receive the link and input all marketing activity updates for their area within the time frame specified. Coordinate and chase up colleagues where necessary to ensure this is completed in a timely manner. Manage the weekly send of the pack to key senior stakeholders ensuring the pack is up to date and shared on time
Own and update specific slides in the Weekly Pack assigned to you (currently Channel Map and Marketing Noms slides)
Support the wider team when required with any ad hoc admin requests
Own Asda Radio end to end:
You will support the Campaign Manager with agency management and take a lead role in the day to day working relationship, communication and critical path management driving efficiencies to process and ensuring all work is on track and delivered on time
Responsible for reviewing all Asda Radio content to ensure it aligns to our content pillars, channel objectives, Asda tone of voice and business growth plan where relevant. Working closely with our key radio agency, you will oversee all the content that goes live across the station, from DJ reads to campaign launches, to takeovers and adverts
Continuously striving for excellence in your channel working with internal stakeholders to showcase the best content including ATL Campaigns, community initiatives, promotional offers, shout outs to colleagues, new product launches and supplier funded ads
You will work closely with stores to manage any connectivity and broadband issues to ensure they are resolved quickly and efficiently
Be an Asda Radio ambassador within the marketing function including providing information for and presenting in senior meetings where relevant
Raise and receipt monthly POs and add to PO tracker and budget tracker.
Review how the Squads are working and implement any necessary improvements
Review how Asda Radio is working and work with Image Sound to optimise output and ways of working
Marketing experience ideally within a marketing team client side, or marketing agency background
Experience of the providing admin support to a busy team
An interest in and a broad understanding of paid media landscape, and the role of each channel
Someone thrives working in a fast-paced environment with a strong ability to multi-task, managing multiple priorities and respond to change and last minute requests
Excellent communication skills with proven experience of engaging with stakeholders and agencies. You’ll be a team player and comfortable with cross team collaboration
Strong presentation skills, including presenting work to key stakeholders in meetings
An ability to work collaboratively and land projects on time through critical path management, prioritisation and managing your own workload with a proactive approach
Strong creative skills, excellent attention to detail and good decision making skills
A real team player mind-set and self-motivated attitude
Shows understanding of the customer and represents their needs first
