Signs & Labels Implementation Manager
As Signs & Labels Implementation Manager, you will lead the delivery of all in-store signs & labels design change projects, including those within the Future program – helping shape and implement new systems and optimising capabilities following Asda's separation from Walmart.
This is a key role working as part of the Customer Marketing Execution and Operations team, reporting to the Senior Manager responsible for delivering the implementation of in-store signs & labels changes. You will own the planning, development, and implementation of key design & coding changes of our in-store signs & labels, aligned to the overall BAU objectives, objectives of the Future Program and the Customer Design strategy for value messaging.
What the role will be responsible for:
Managing the implementation of business initiatives focusing on the look, feel and usage of in-store signs & labels.
Managing all changes to the design and coding of in-store signs & labels
Leading on the design, development, testing and roll out of your changes to the store estate.
Official status reporting and ensuring the Senior Manager and other key stakeholders receive regular updates on progress.
Working collaboratively with key stakeholders across the Commercial function, Suppliers, Finance, Supply Chain, Tech, and technology vendors to drive the deliverables of the Future program.
Working cross-functionally with key stakeholders in Customer, Commercial and Tech to understand and deliver business requirements.
Identifying, communicating, and resolving risks, concerns, issues, and blockers to change requests, initiating appropriate escalation to the Senior Print Manager where required.
Ensuring the new systems and processes proposed by the Future team are fit for purpose for the use and maintenance by the wider Asda team.
Managing cross functional delivery teams to drive the delivery of the program outcomes.
Attending relevant forums, meetings, and briefings to provide updates and presenting to the cross functional stakeholders, Customer teams and Tech.
About you:
- You will have retail signs & labels experience and a strong knowledge of the development and implementation of different retail signage applications.
- You will have experience in coding for retail signs & labels
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to understand and deal with complex problems and be able to make decisions at pace when required.
- Ability to work cross functionally, challenging and influencing a diverse set of stakeholders at all levels of the business.
- A self-motivated individual who is comfortable working in a fast paced, changing, and often ambiguous environment.
- Able to manage time and use your own initiative to prioritise effectively.
- Excellent listener who can work collaboratively at pace to implement cross functional solutions.
