Asda is recruiting for a Security Risk & Vulnerability Analyst with a genuine interest in the technical side of Cybersecurity who would succeed in a role that is not hands-on technical with the ability to thrive in an environment where change is rapid and constant with a high volume of work and challenge. Your Role

Great opportunity to join a well established security team at ASDA!

You will perform risk analysis reviews on systems and solutions identifying security control gaps, the risks they present and defining remediation options. You will fulfil service requests and provide cybersecurity support across all cybersecurity domains and respond to incidents working with customers and SMEs to resolve incidents swiftly. You will build and manage relationships with multiple internal business stakeholders & Wal-Mart Global Cybersecurity and take an on-going, pro-active role to drive the security awareness program for Asda colleagues by delivering regular and relevant updates to colleagues across the Asda estate. You will support in the delivery and processing of Security Service to ensure that requests are worked and resolved quickly and effusively. As part of this role, you will represent Asda in global security forums to keep Asda abreast of global developments as part of our global cybersecurity family. You will ensure that you deliver all work to the highest standard quality following and driving industry best practice at every opportunity and you should have knowledge of SSO technology and how it is utilised and set-up

 

About You

  • A proven track record in a similar role and the skills to fulfil the responsibilities in this role and a demonstrable knowledge in security technology and how it reduces or eliminates risk in an enterprise.
  • A good working knowledge and experience of security risk analysis for technical solutions combined with an ability articulate them clearly both verbally and in written form and good working knowledge of industry-related security frameworks and policies (e.g. PCI, ISO27001, GDPR & SOX).
  • A customer focussed attitude with excellent communication and networking (people) skills with an unfailingly enthusiastic approach to work with controlled urgency and good-humour under pressure.
  • A relish for challenging conversations with the ability to conduct them with calm authority but tenacious fervour.
  • Experience of working in a cyber / information security environment.
