Job Purpose 

As part of our newly formed operating model and engagement team for George clothing and General Merchandise, you will work to design and build our future operating model which enables efficiency in our instore execution. As part of this programme, you will support in identifying colleague technical training requirements across Non-Food and work with stakeholders across the business to develop and deliver Best in Class training.

Key Accountabilities 

  1. Work with key stakeholders across the business to design and build the future George clothing and General Merchandise store operating model, providing learnings and recommendations to the leadership team
  2. Lead trials across Non-Food, working alongside key stakeholders in home office and stores 
  3. Support in planning, designing, and developing a programme of technical upskilling for all levels across Retail
  4. Create content to support the programme of upskilling which delivers Best in Class
  5. Work with the People function to build a world class recruitment and retention programme
  6. Collaborate with our retail leadership teams, to support them in delivering model store standards and processes across all stores
