As a Data & Systems Co-Ordinator in the Market Development team you will support and assist with all aspects of Market Data Management for the Market Development team and wider business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage weekly financial and space data update process for use in department dashboards
  • Manage weekly programme performance updates for wider business
  • Manage competitor impact & planning monitoring process working closely with Evaluation & Insight Managers and Property Planning Team
  • Support the team with data and insight requests from across the business
  • Support Visualisation team with updates to department dashboards including Property Portal management
  • Process all incoming data for Competition, Retail Locations, Drone Data and all other sources and ensure they are cleaned, checked and uploaded into the relevant database
  • Review data for inconsistencies or anomalies using data cleansing techniques and update where necessary
  • Streamline data collection and analysis processes to ensure they are efficient and simple to use
  • Generate and review documentation of datasets held within the team - inc. Data Dictionary and User Guides
  • Support with management of Market Development and Customer Research budget

 

About You:

 

  • Understanding of Database Structures and efficient management of large datasets
  • Computer literate and a willingness to learn new systems and analysis tools (e.g. SQL, Alteryx, Tableau and ArcGIS)
  • Ability to explain technical detail in a simple and concise manner 
  • An aptitude for data integrity and manipulation and ability to manage multiple workloads
  • Strong communication skills to ensure cross functional working
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach – constantly learning to ensure we are ahead of the curve
  • Understanding of changes in the market and new data sources that could be harnessed
  • Ability to be agile to changing priorities and evolving technologies and ways of working
