Are you looking for an exciting commercial role with elements of marketing, design and production in a fast-paced changing environment?


This exciting Gift Card Marketing role is responsible for the design, development, production and merchandising of the Asda Gift & Savings Card business.  This includes Asda own label and 3rd party gift cards, including marketing these products both in store and online. 


What you will be doing? 

  • Manage Asda brand range design and reviews to ensure the proposition is performing at its optimum 
  • Provide marketing guidance and represent specialist product area and interests to Marketing Planning 
  • Responsible for stock management, print and production budget management to agreed forecast.  Be responsible for reporting on costs vs plan 
  • Be responsible for the in-store customer experience. To ensure fixtures can be easily shopped by customers.
  • Provide insights and updates on competitor activity
  • Be responsible for driving website performance, including driving traffic and increasing conversion rates.
  • Research, identify and evaluate the potential demand for card and scheme developments 
  • Challenge existing suppliers to deliver LCOM
  • Manage and optimise space instore – through Gift Card Malls, Checkouts and Tactical Event space
  • Work with Asda rewards team to integrate and cross sell gift cards.
  • Deliver activity briefs to Marketing function for creative development and execution for Gift Cards and Asda Money marketing collateral
  • Lead the CRM program for savings products and encourage repeat online purchases.
  • Leverage design and production cost saving opportunities across Walmart markets and Asda Categories (eg Licensed, Product Design)
