Are you an experienced Commercial/Buying Manager looking for an opportunity to work in a fast paced Healthcare team?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join our Optical team, here at Asda House! This role sits within the Healthcare category and reports to the Head of Optical. 

Your role

As the Optical Commercial Manager, you will work collaboratively with key suppliers and with internal stakeholders alike in order to deliver sales, pricing and growth ahead of the market and managing the category P&L,.

You will negotiate and deliver business plans as well as understand customers and implement strategies that meets their needs. Delivered through strong ranges and marketing strategies.

You will also need to understand, track & negotiate around key commodities and deliver cost to serve programmes with suppliers to ensure great value for our customers.

 About you

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Strong awareness of customer requirements, market trends and competitor ranges
• Ability to identify strategic opportunities and innovative product ideas
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence a diverse, branded supplier ba
• Experience in Optical or a Healthcare background would be beneficial
