Group Product Manager - Online - Fulfil & ServeHead Office

The Group Product Manager role is a senior management position with accountably for defining and driving the product vision, strategy and execution across the Fulfil and Serve area. In this dynamic role, you will oversee multiple products, to provide a seamless experience for our online customers.

This role balances strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, as you drive the planning and execution of products across various stages of the product lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with business operations, engineering and technical delivery teams to deliver impactful solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and optimise commercial performance.

What You'll Love

Responsible for leading and managing a team of product managers you will create the product strategy and own the roadmap of all technology change and feature deployments within your area. You will create a culture of collaboration, innovation and coach the team to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and the business. Working with key stakeholders, you will highlight and prioritise opportunities for improvement, optimise existing features and build new capabilities, measured through data driven analysis. You will engage with the senior leadership team effectively, so emerging issues or development opportunities are recognised and actioned at pace, whilst building strong relationships with partners and holding them to account for their deliverables.

Product Vision & Strategy

  • Develop and lead the vision and strategy across multiple online products
  • Drive the prioritisation of the development roadmap to enhance the customer experience and support commercial success.
  • Ensure product strategies are data-informed, customer-centric and adaptable to market changes.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build, lead and mentor a high-performing product management team
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative and customer-centric culture, coaching the team to achieve exceptional outcomes for customers, colleagues and the business.

Customer & Market Focus

  • Champion customer empathy and ensure product decisions are grounded in real user needs and behaviours.
  • Leverage market research, customer feedback, analytics and competitive insights to inform product direction.
  • Drive product differentiation and value propositions that resonate with target user

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner closely with Operations, Engineering and Design to ensure seamless product delivery and go-to-market execution.
  • Align stakeholders around product priorities, trade-offs and outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners, ensuring accountability and the successful delivery of commitments.

Execution & Outcome Ownership

  • Define clear product objectives and drive the delivery of key results, ensuring alignment with both the broader product strategy and the company's overarching goals.
  • Track and communicate product performance using relevant KPIs, ensuring focus on customer and business impact and implement frameworks for prioritisation.
  • Oversee product lifecycle management from discovery through delivery, growth, and eventual sunset where applicable.

Governance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, privacy standards, and ethical considerations in product design and delivery.
  • Manage product budgets, tools, and vendor relationships where relevant.

What You'll Need

  • Inspirational leadership, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning to empower teams and maximise their potential.
  • Proven expertise in product management, ideally within e-commerce, retail, fulfilment, or service-related industries, with a successful track record of leading teams through the product lifecycle from concept to launch.
  • Strong technical acumen, with experience in technology change management, feature deployments, and a solid grasp of agile development methodologies to drive efficient product iterations.
  • Data-driven mindset, leveraging analytics tools for product discovery and optimisation while maintaining a deep understanding of customer experience strategies that enhance satisfaction and performance.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, collaborating seamlessly across business operations, technical teams, senior leadership, and external partners to align objectives and drive impactful outcomes.
  • Relevant academic background, holding a bachelor's degree or higher in business, technology, engineering, or a related field; or relevant industry experience.
  • Additional qualifications in Product Management, Agile, or Data Analytics would be advantageous, reinforcing expertise in strategic product delivery and optimisation.
