This is a key role in the Online George.com team with key responsibility for supporting the planning of all online metric plan and re-forecasts for the channel.​ Playing an important role between stakeholder engagement across marketing, commercial and logistics on the plan creation and reforecast short and long term across order planning and reforecasts.​

This role sits in the George.com Demand & Delivery team reporting into the Demand & Delivery Manager.

  • Supports the Demand & Delivery manager in preparation of cascade of the Online commercial plans with business stakeholders inc. Finance, Online Prop, Online Trade & Merchandise and Brand.

  • Collaborate with the relevant teams and implement the forecasts for online, covering demand sales, volume performance, trade performance and margin

  • Work in partnership with the wider George.com teams to provide clear and concise forecasting information and delivery income forecasts – supporting the overall strategic direction

  • Working in partnership with Operation leads, to ensure accurate order plans are in place across key services click and collect and home delivery that meets our needs and growth ambitions

  • Working in partnership with Online supply teams to manage the Asda Logistics operation across the 5 fulfilment sites through annual plan creation and weekly and monthly re-forecast timelines

  • Working in partnership with Asda Logistics to plan and reforecast sales volumes to support the delivery of the cost plans and delivery proposition through annual plan, weekly and monthly review

  • Maintain the forecasting across online, highlighting key issues, potential risks and showcasing data trends

  • Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of sales performance and forecast data to key stakeholders across the business highlighting issues, risks and opportunities

  • Promote and highlight potential profitable gains to support the overall net profit position within George.com

  • Target key areas and collaborate with wider teams around the Geoge.com strategy, focusing on delivery price proposition development and delivery income with a focus on improving the online customer experience

  • Support the delivery of the George.com delivery service proposition, supporting the implementation of accurate forecasting​​​

  • Ideal candidate has experience in a demand planning role

  • Possess strong analytical skills, with experience handling large data sets and a proven ability to develop demand forecasting systems

  • Depth of experience across reporting and analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, Google Analytics beneficial

  • Fantastic communication and relationship building to manage all stakeholders in a fastpaced environment

  • Demonstrate knowledge of online planning and fulfilment operations integral to the role
