We are committed to building a truly inclusive culture that enables all our colleagues to bring their best and true selves to work every day, with all of our colleagues feeling proud to be Asda and proud to be themselves.
All JobsWe know that all our colleagues are unique, with different skills, personalities and style. And together we make a great team.
To support us in creating a truly inclusive culture that we can all be proud of we’ve developed six Inclusion Networks to help steer our efforts. They cover DisABILITY, Ethnicity, Gender, Pride and Wellbeing.
Social mobility is one of the biggest challenges facing society. How to create opportunities for people to achieve their potential regardless of background. One practical way we’re making a difference is by partnering Enactus UK which gives young people the chance to get involved in social action, enterprise and entrepreneurship.
As a business, we’re on a journey to create a culture where we can all bring our best and true selves to work every day. We do recognise, however, that there’s always more to do, and so we’re committed to continually listening to our colleagues, to help us get things right.
Our Diversity and Inclusion Strategy covers four main areas – building knowledge and confidence, improving our approach to diversity and inclusion, working towards better governance and maintaining momentum.
We appreciate we’ve much to learn, room to improve, can create even stronger networks and have to stay committed to championing difference.
As part of our plan, we’re delighted to announce the launch of Our Inclusion Network, a new digital platform where all of our 140,000+ colleagues can be part of our inclusion conversations.
It provides our people with all the latest inclusion news, including upcoming events and activities to get involved in. It’s also a forum for people to be able to ask questions, give feedback, connect with other colleagues and understand what support is available to them.
