Licensing Assistant
Procuring and maintaining all required real estate, construction and operating licences and permits to make sure everything we do is within law and regulations.
Data Protection Lawyer
Working flexibly to identify and understand the needs of business partners and provide clear and concise legal advice.
Compliance Officer
Updating procedures and processes to keep us in line with policy changes, supporting audits, and investigating and resolving any issues that come up.

We’re making our stores a hub for everything you need. All in one place. So our customers don’t have to worry about finding the time to pick up their prescriptions, new glasses, uniforms for the kids, a replacement for the plate they dropped… oh, and their groceries, too!
Because they can do it all at Asda. And so can you.
Over 1,000 stores across the UK (including Supercentres, Superstores, Supermarkets, Asda Living stores and Asda Express stores), 43 depots and two Head Offices. That’s a huge estate to manage, which is only getting bigger. That means our Legal & Compliance teams are always busy getting involved in everything – for all the stores we already have, the ones we haven’t opened yet, and all the projects happening in them.
From acquiring new sites, construction works, and planning applications, to keeping our stores in the best shape, and helping us build our customer offer, the scope for what you can get up to is incredible.
Whatever the challenge, our Legal & Compliance teams get stuck in to make it happen – the right way. Which means everyday is different, with new problems to solve and projects to dive into.
