Asda On the Move – Accounts Assistant

The Account Assistant will play an important part in helping to deliver the very best service on a consistent basis to support the customers' operating model which in turn will deliver a great experience to our customers, aiding the achievement of Asda's sales/ margin/ EBITDA expectation.

 

Your Role

 

The role will provide many opportunities to further develop both your technical and behavioural capabilities with various study support schemes available and a wealth of experience and knowledge across the department.

 

The main duties will include:

  • Supporting the wider team in the development and execution of the AOTM/ New Formats & Channels strategy.
  • Preparing data, analytics, and commentary, for regular reporting on performance metrics.
  • Facilitating the management of queries and requests from our customers. • Supporting the implementation of the new store development programme.
  • Working cross functionally and collaboratively within the AOTM/ New Formats & Channels team. Day to day work will include regular interaction with range planning, logistics/ transport, supply chain, finance, and other functions of the Asda business.
  • Incorporating feedback into ways of working to ensure the AOTM service model is effective, efficient, and consistently delivers to the needs of the customer.

 

About you

  • A background in retail and/or an operational environment is required.
  • Communicating and Influencing- ability to work independently and methodically in a small but cohesive team is essential.
  • The individual should be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Confident with Microsoft programmes, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyse data and provide structured commentary/ assessment.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and cross functionally (internally and externally) is essential.

. • Proactive and positive attitude with a flexible style of work ethic.

 

 

 

Asda House Leeds – Permanent/Full-time contract – 37.5 hours per week.

5 days a week, Monday – Saturday on a 1 in 4 Saturday basis.

Mix of working in the office and from home.
