We've a new and vital role within the busy social media team, helping to inform and evaluate our social strategy, expand our audience, and harness actionable insights. As an expert in this area, you'll be leading on platform implementation, roll out, process and training, as well as ensuring we are in-line with best practice for social listening and social performance analytics. ​

This role will require high levels of both analytic and strategic thinking, embedding a data-driven culture through knowledge-sharing and collaboration. ​

We're looking for Social Media Analysts who will have an in-depth understanding of how to read and interpret data (both qual & quant), excellent knowledge of social media tools and trends, and can provide deep insights to team members to help them evaluate and improve their plans.​

You'll be a natural storyteller with a strong ability to bring complex data to life and be proficient in using Sprinklr, Hootsuite & Sprout.

“Find your role”

  • Be the expert lead analyst and primary contact for all social analytics queries (builds, briefs, research and reporting)
  • Analyse user engagement by researching the way customers interact with our social media platforms and help us predict future behaviour and trends.
  • Analyse complex data sets and report back to the business at agreed cadence against the metrics which matter most.
  • Keep abreast of competitor performance, making recommendations to leverage strategy and creative formats/trends to help us stay ahead of the pack ​.
  • In partnership with the media, strategy and creative teams, establish hypotheses to test key metrics to inform decisions, measure media success, and audience performance.
  • Scope, prioritize, execute tests (or work with measurement partners), and interpret test results. Aggregate learnings for distribution across social teams (reactive & planned)​.
  • Lead the development of a robust measurement framework to centrally analyse performance.
  • Build and maintain dashboards: in order to visualize data based on technical specifications, business goals, and KPIs to enable faster insights, recommendations. Tailor reporting to meet ongoing needs.

 

Let's find out about you”

  • Extensive expertise in deep social listening, analysis and reporting within large, fast paced business environment. Retail setting preferred (FMCG).
  • Proven experience using one or more of the following social listening tools: Khoros, Sprinklr, Hootsuite and native platform analytics.
  • Proven ability to write and present in-depth reports, providing data visualisation and insights within tight deadlines to C-suite and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong experience of stakeholder engagement, training and knowledge sharing across teams/functions.
  • Ability to confidently articulate impact of insights across teams (both written and verbal)
