Are you looking for a role that combines analytical skill & insight development with delivering real value adding change? Do you love problem solving & working with data and want to use those skills to lead change? Do you want to be involved in the biggest technology change of the decade in the UK? If so, then this is the role for you…

We are looking for a Senior Insight Analyst to join our Data Science & Analytics team within the Money and Mobile pillar. You will support & take a lead on projects that utilise the huge array of data our business holds to improve retail processes to drive the market share & profitability of Asda.

You will develop & deliver clear, actionable insight to a range of stakeholders that will drive optimisation, sales growth, customer loyalty & profitability.

We are looking for someone who has experience of finding insight in data or creating reports. We are not looking for someone who just churns out data.

Your Role

  • Exploration of customer & transactional data to identify and deliver key insights that enable stakeholders to make better, more data driven business decisions
  • Creation of clear and simple outputs from complex data and analysis that tell the story to our stakeholders of who our customers are and what is important to them
  • Understand how customers behave across different channels within ASDA
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to achieve what is right for customers
  • Push yourself & the team to continuously improve performance through learning & development

About you

The ideal candidate loves data, is focussed on their own development & has a passion for driving process change. Your key strengths will include…

  • A pro-active and inquisitive approach to identifying opportunities to improve working processes and systems, having the confidence to question the status quo
  • Technically adept, having a proven track record in SQL
  • Good commercial understanding of the key drivers of a retail business
  • Being comfortable communicating at the right technical level to influence stakeholders
  • Passionate about working with data, recognising the potential to drive decision making and storytelling through quality accessible data
  • An ability to manage a complex workload of projects & deliver insight quickly when opportunities present themselves

  • 10% colleague discount, free parking and many additional rewards.
