We are looking for a DevOps Cloud Engineer to join our expanding E-commerce Platform team. The role will be responsible for building and running production pipelines, optimizing code quality for multiple platform components using Azure and Salesforce.

 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced pipeline builder with Azure DevOps experience.  The cloud engineer will need to support Technical Delivery Managers and Solution Architects with discovery and best practices. He/She must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the needs of multiple teams, systems and products.  The location can be flexible with a Hybrid working pattern available.

 

Your Role:

  1. Configuring cloud environments / resources / management groups
  2. Pipeline configuration and integration into existing tooling spine
  3. Review and advise multiple development teams on pipeline structure and efficiency
  4. Proactively seek out opportunities for automation and deployment improvements, as well as increased performance and stability
  5. Develop new eCommerce cloud patterns
  6. Support the e-commerce team, balance the demands of critical, short term and long term objectives.
  7. Work alongside other non e-commerce cloud teams, sharing best practice and support where needed
  8. Analyse and report on the Dev Ops quality and security with recommendations and ideas to improve and increase delivery speed and quality

 

About You:

  • Previous Cloud Platform Experience for Azure Dev Ops
  • Pipeline build Experience
  • Integrating tooling e.g. code quality, security, test frameworks etc
  • Experience in software development Lifecycle with Agile/Lean Methodologies
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Working knowledge of system architectures and networking

 

Desirable:

  • Salesforce experience
  • Containerisation
  • Building DevOps / engineering dashboards
