Lead Data Cleansing Analyst

 

Reporting to the Business Solution lead, the Lead Data Cleansing Analyst will provide support to the Functional leads on data requirements, cleansing and any other data needs.  As the project progresses through the various stages, the Lead Data Cleansing Analyst will work with the Programme SMEs and the business, to identify issues with data and put procedures in place to fix those data issues at source, ensuring that the data in the new People system will be correctly mapped, accurate and fit for purpose. 

 

Please note this is fixed term position until Nov 2023, but a high percentage of our fixed term colleagues secure permanent opportunities along the way.

 

Your Role

  • Identify procedures to ensure data is fixed in source systems, or in Data transformation.
  • Identify sources of data, and record flows of data between HR applications, both current and ‘to be'
  • Put processes in place to ensure data validation is completed prior to and post data loads
  • Working with SME's identify data requirements for testing cycles
  • Working SME's analyse and Identify Gaps in Data and put plans in place to fill those gaps
  • Complete data mapping exercise from current systems to ‘to be'
  • Working with SME's produce recommendations and Fixes for data issues between systems
  • Working with SME's support with analysis and assessment of current and target data model
  • Support Programme Functional leads with data validations and data discrepancies

 

 

About You

 

Essential Experience

  • Strong Excel skills
  • Analytical
  • Clear Communication skills

 

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Workday / Service Now / Payroll data experience
  • Working knowledge of Data Protection principles
