Fresh Product Coordinator

In this incredibly fast moving and ever changing environment, you'll discover exactly how much the little things matter. From admin support to organising product panels getting everything accurate is hugely important. And doing it as efficiently as possible will bring savings to our customers as well as to our business.

About the role: 

We are on the look out for a Product Coordinator to join our Fresh & Frozen product development team.

Asda's Own Brand new product development is key to our business strategy, driving quality, innovation and newness for our Asda customer to enjoy. If successful you'll be joining a team who lead from the front, driving category development and implementing the Trading and Brand strategy across Food.

You will support the Product Team in all areas, including sales tracking and analysis. It's important that you keep the admin up to date, including new and improved launches, launch presentations and online review data.

Responsible for working with the category product managers to ensure innovation & product development is driven in specific product areas to deliver newness & incremental sales by supporting on product panels, food styling, booking kitchens and organising samples. 

Lead cross category activity; food product information, planning and presentations i.e Christmas

Capture outputs of benchmarking panels and manage completion of trackers for the team.

Collate new line sales data on a weekly basis and present back to the team including looking at online reviews & complaints and keep track and report on new launches.

Support the PR team with award nominations.

About You:

You will be a pro-active team member with strong interpersonal, organisation and management skills you will be able to work independently, prioritise effectively and deliver to deadlines within specific timescales. You will have excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
