Would you like to work with some of the top creative agencies in the country to deliver world class, award winning design?

 

Your job will be to oversee design from our agencies and our in house design studio for POS and instore experience, delivering projects that follow our design guidelines yet pushes creative boundaries.

Working in a fast paced team, you will be responsible for managing projects for one of our newest programmes, the rollout of our convenience formats with one of our partners, supporting the team to drive the creative vision and consistent delivery for in store POS

Your passion for design delivery and understanding of in store POS design and our design strategy will ensure that our customers' engagement, loyalty and trust continues to grow within the market by delivering the best possible in store experience. 

Your role will include the management of thorough guidelines, toolkits and templates to handover, briefing marketing teams, digital and artwork teams, regularly recirculating and training out. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to them, along with a system for the library management.

 

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing creative briefs, working with joint partners and internal stakeholders to understand their creative requirements.
  • Briefing creative agencies, designers and our internal design studio, Studio 368. Critiquing and approving designs they produce, presenting back to senior teams for approval.
  • Delivering beautifully relevant, customer-centric design and artwork, from brief to landing in store.
  • Working with MOPs and Implementation team to deliver against critical path, within agreed timescales.
  • Ensuring design remains on brand and within Asda guidelines and toolkits.
  • Maintaining a consistent high standard of creative delivery through all projects.
  • Reviewing quotes from agencies, keeping track of spend and facilitating POs from other teams, driving EDLC through right first-time solutions.
  • Managing internal system to ensure it's up to date with the most up to date creative and guidelines.

 

About you:

You must have:

  • Experience working as a Graphic Designer or Account manager in a design agency or in-house design studio. 
  • Ability to multi-task; and be used to a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Strong creative skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • A good understanding of brand design and management.
  • Technical knowledge of artwork, repro and print process.
  • Good Excel skills to manage critical paths.

You must be:

  • Customer and process focussed. 
  • Experienced in leading projects with a solid track record of delivering on time, on budget and to brief.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Good team player
