Do you have a passion for content, publications and photography?
Working as part of the Asda Brand Communications team, you will help create content that ladders up to our strategic growth plan and content pillars. You'll be part of a team that puts the customer at the heart of the content we create.
Supporting the Content Manager to execute the content and publications strategy, you will bring your experience and passion to the role to ensure we operate with efficiency. This role will be integral to the delivery of content, working with the Content Planner and Manager to ensure deadlines are met and creative has been through the relevant sign-off processes.
Your role as Content Coordinator
You'll have the opportunity to help shape the editorial and content briefs through planning sessions, attend photography shoots, support with creative sign-off including feedback on page layouts, copy, and pagination flow.
You'll work with different stakeholders across the business such as the Legal, Trading and Nutrition teams. You will develop excellent working relationships across the Customer Marketing department, wider business and external agencies.
You'll support with day-to-day agency communications, helping to collate creative feedback, fulfil requests for product information and diarise key meetings. You will lead on the sample process, including requesting and organising the delivery of product samples for photography and video shoots, ensuring products arrive at the correct location on time.
Working with the retail operations team, you'll help to manage communications to stores about up-coming content and publications and you'll be integral to sharing updates and assets with other owned channels and teams across the business in key weekly meetings.
You'll take a lead role to manage product and price sign-off with the trading team, work closely with nutrition to engage them on key content and recipe initiatives, and ensure all content has been through legal checks and guidance in a timely manner before print deadlines.
You'll work with the team to identify and spot opportunities for digital extension of print and photography assets to maximise efficiencies and work closely with the social team to deliver this content.
You'll have an interest in wider marketing and keep up to date with what's going on in the market through regular competitor reviews and have the confidence to share your ideas in the right forums. You'll take the lead on gathering competitor examples monthly and relish the opportunity to support on reviewing data-led insight to inform content planning.
As part of the wider Content team, you may also support across digital, social and general project planning.
