Construction Model Design Coordinator

Would you like to work in the property function and work in the model & design team responsible for the aesthetic, technical and delivery of building design information to all our projects.

Do you want to participate in model specification information coordination, data exchange and content creation will be core to success in the role but is not limited to this, however, a flexible approach will make this role an exciting opportunity to grow and learn new skills?

You will coordinate construction & Back of House/Warehouse building information and model specification to support the update of ASDA's building information requirements. This includes Back of House/Warehouse, technical specifications, data & where appropriate supporting, organising, and developing content. Working closely with various teams to ensure change requests are supported with suitable content and data.

You will support and drive Building Information Modelling (BIM) standards to ensure delivery of the business goals and plan.

Ultimately in this role you will support and influence decisions on how Asda hold, use and gather building information, specification and the systems used to deliver long term design and building efficiency.

A background in architecture, design and building information modelling would be beneficial but not essential as is the use of AutoCAD & Revit. A strong sense of project coordination and initiative would also be a valuable skill.

  • Procuring Design change information and communication
  • Supporting Construction Model manager
  • Managing BOH model development and communication
  • Manage construction feedback and technical queries
  • Support and drive BIM plans
  • Owning and understanding key model processes
  • Support on Revit development in team
  • Engagement Internally and Externally
  • Become a key contact in the model & design team
