As a UX Researcher working within the UX & Optimisation team, you will lead on a range of initiatives to help to deliver World Class digital experiences on George.com and explain the ‘why’ to the ‘what’ of data and analytics. Utilising qualitative and quantitative research methodologies you will keep the customer at the heart of everything we do, influencing decisions with data-backed insights to improve the end-to-end online experience.

  • Conduct regular conversations with our customers to ensure we build the right experiences to solve their problems.

  • Encourage the business to make product decisions based on customer insight, data and research evidence.

  • Share insights in appropriate formats to aid understanding and knowledge.

  • Work closely with Optimisation to drive experimentation and personalisation initiatives with data-backed insights.

  • Seek to improve processes and ways of working – spotting opportunities for collaboration and creating efficiencies for colleagues and customers.

  • Be the voice of the customer within the ecommerce function.

  • Experience in UX Research in a large-scale ecommerce environment.

  • Ability to utilise a range of research methodologies at various stages of the User Centred Design process.

  • Proficient in gathering and delivering customer insights.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Confident in project scoping and planning, as well as hands-on execution of running research studies.

  • A flexible, confident and tenacious attitude with strong influencing skills.
