As the Social Media & Influencer Manager for our George brand, you'll be a fundamental lynchpin in the Social Team working directly with our campaign and content teams, creative agencies, and media planners, to create and distribute social & influencer content. This integral role is centred around developing, guiding, and monitoring George’s presence across multiple social media platforms as well as harnessing the power of, influencer and talent partnerships to elevate our brand’s visibility and engagement.

As the Social media and Influencer, you will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and managing relationships with key influencers, ambassadors, and content creators who align with our brand values and audience. Your strategic vision and execution will drive brand awareness, credibility, and conversion through authentic and impactful social media comms & collaborations. You will be responsible for the management of the George social plans you will know how to create best in class social content whilst identifying new ways to innovate and engage our audience.
Nurture the strategic influencer and talent management program, identifying potential partners who resonate with our brand ethos and can amplify our message to target audiences.
Nurture the George social media strategy & plans across the brand channels nuancing content relevant for the platform and product (fashion/home.)
Support contract negotiations with influencers, talent and their representatives, ensuring clear expectations, deliverables, and adherence to budget guidelines.
Foster long-term relationships with key influencers and talent, creating a network of brand advocates and partners.
Collaborate with the Customer Marketing, PR and Content teams to co-create compelling, authentic content across both social and influencer content aligning with our brand’s campaign objectives and messaging.
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of social content, influencer and ambassador partnerships through data-driven insights, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimise performance and ROI.
Stay abreast of social, industry trends, emerging influencers, and talent, as well as best practices in influencer marketing, to continuously innovate and improve our influencer strategy.
Lead the integration of influencer content across all marketing channels, ensuring cohesive and aligned brand messaging and maximizing the impact of partnerships.
Manage the influencer/talent/social budget, tracking expenditures and ensuring strategic allocation of resources for maximum effectiveness.
You'll leverage organic and paid social media and educate and enable our wider business to drive best-in class social media practices, create awareness of George’s products, values, and services while protecting and furthering brand reputation and affinity
You'll work with multiple internal and external stakeholders including PR, Legal, Social Media Analysts, Content Production and Brand teams to develop and execute social, influencer and talent strategies that resonate with our audience and amplify our brand message.
Proven experience in social media, influencer and talent management, with a track record of developing successful content, partnerships and campaigns that drive brand engagement and conversion.
Have a proven track record managing teams and setting and achieving results
Be able to present data and report back on KPIs and performance tracking.
Be passionate about social media & influencers and keeping up to date with latest digital trends and opportunities.
Strong network within the influencer and entertainment industries, with the ability to identify and engage with emerging and established talent.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
Creative thinker with the ability to collaborate on content creation, providing strategic direction to ensure brand alignment and message coherence.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in measuring and analysing the effectiveness of influencer partnerships, utilising metrics to guide strategy.
Deep knowledge of the digital and social media landscape, with a keen understanding of trends, platform dynamics, and audience behaviours.
Ability to work cross-functionally, collaborating with various internal teams and stakeholders to integrate influencer and talent content into broader marketing initiatives. Strong PR acumen.
Have exceptional copywriting and editing skills.
Be an excellent communicator with strong instincts and know how to contextualise your opinions in facts that a broad mix of stakeholders can understand.
Experience in using social media management platforms (ideally Sprinklr)
Have project & budget management skills.
Have a solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
Have a knowledge of online marketing channels.
