“Find your role”

As an Executive Assistant supporting Executive Board Members here at Asda you will work closely with them to support in the delivery of their roles and help them to achieve their strategic priorities and business goals.

  • Expertly coordinate complex scheduling & extensive calendar management, aligning your Exec members commitments around the business and wider executive committee priorities.
  • Liaising on behalf of your Exec member with suppliers and stakeholders both within the business and externally.
  • Be embedded in our organisation, with a clear understanding of the business strategy, key priorities and objectives, providing support as required.
  • Build a network specifically with the Executive Assistants to enable the delivery of great service to the Asda Executive Committee team.
  • Manage the content and flow of confidential and commercially sensitive information including reviewing and actioning emails (where possible) to enable timely decision-making.
  • Arranging logistics and itineraries associated with national & international travel including visa’s where relevant.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for direct reports, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work cross functionally with the events team to organise meetings, events & conferences to ensure all events are a success.
  • Managing key meetings by confirming agendas, attendance, minute taking and collating key actions and next steps.
  • Project management of small-scale projects
  • Preparing papers for executive committees and board meetings

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in providing comprehensive Executive Assistant support at Executive or Board level along with demonstrating:

  • Highly organised and able to work at pace in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment.
  • Experience of complex diary management & interaction with multiple stakeholders.
  • MS Office / Outlook experience.
  • Trustworthy and maturity to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Solution orientated – ability to network & juggle competing priorities effectively for your Exec Members.
  • Energetic & self-reliant with a creative approach to solving problems / clashes / multiple commitments.
  • Pace and agility to react to changing business priorities
  • Be able to commit to be based out of our Leeds Head Office a minimum of 3 days a week, and flexibility to mirror your Exec members ‘in office’ schedule.

A fun fact about me... 
I ran down the entire metal gaping steps of The Calgary Tower (626 ft tall) to make a flight back home, all because a horse was stuck in the lifts.
