As Online Grocery Business Lead you will manage one or several business units, leading the online journey. Your position is to ensure that all planned category activity is landed onto our online platforms on time through your team and merchandised and traded best in class to maximise customer ease of shop, sales and profit. You are expected to utilise your team, leading with a positive and solution-based mindset. You will influence cross functionally, engaging stakeholders both internal and external, and must be able to pivot on day-to-day questions and problems in a fast-paced environment.
As part of the wider Online Groceries team, you will help drive the online commercial strategy for Grocery products by working closely with the Trading, Activity & Proposition and Online Operations teams. You are responsible for understanding our shoppers and providing an easy, fast and friendly online customer experience on site.
In this exciting role, you will lead to shape future department ranges and strategies, influencing the trading teams through interpretation of key insight metrics including traffic, conversion, and basket analysis. You will support your teams in undertaking market and range performance analysis, highlighting opportunities and risk to trade performance.
Your role will be varied and fast paced and will involve working as part of a multidisciplinary team to manage your product catalogue, site navigation, search and promotional events. You will be working in an environment where simplification and innovation is encouraged.
