We are committed to building a truly inclusive culture that enables all our colleagues to bring their best and true selves to work every day, with all of our colleagues feeling proud to be Asda and proud to be themselves.
We know that all our colleagues are unique, with different skills, personalities and style. And together we make a great team.
To support us in creating a truly inclusive culture that we can all be proud of we’ve developed six Inclusion Networks to help steer our efforts. They cover Age, DisABILITY, Ethnicity, Gender, Pride and Wellbeing.
Social mobility is one of the biggest challenges facing society. How to create opportunities for people to achieve their potential regardless of background. One practical way we’re making a difference is by partnering Enactus UK which gives young people the chance to get involved in social action, enterprise and entrepreneurship.
We support young leaders of the future to transform communities both locally and worldwide through innovation and responsible enterprise. The students then participate in a series of competitions at regional and national level before one team is selected to represent the UK in the Enactus World Cup.
Asda Volunteers coach and mentor the University teams and participate in judging at competitions. We also set one competition each year and offer project grants to teams that develop projects in the UK aligned to our own sustainability goals.
