Summer placements for students

At the moment we don’t run a specific summer placement programme for Optical undergraduates, although we’re investigating the possibility of introducing one in the near future.

However, if you’re interested in working in an ASDA Optical Department, either in a seasonal capacity, part time or on a short term contract, just get in touch with your local store to see what options they have available. Ask to speak to the People Manager who can tell you about any vacancies and give you an application form.

Information for pre-registration students

At the moment we’re unable to offer pre-registration training but we’re definitely working on it! We’re eager to bring fresh new talent into our business; people who have a genuine passion for Optical and are brimming with new ideas and initiatives.
