Work that works for you

Seasonal Colleagues

It's no surprise that we become even busier than usual at certain times of the year. So our Seasonal and holiday colleagues play a really important role, especially at Christmas, at Easter and in the summer holidays.

As a Seasonal colleague, you'll be able to work 8 weeks a year without ever having to re-apply. It's also a great way to get your Asda career moving and make the most of our excellent development opportunities. On top of that, you'll also enjoy all of our usual benefits, like an Asda Discount Card which gives you 10% off your shopping, and competitive pay.

Because Seasonal roles are available at peak holiday periods, they're especially popular with students during study breaks. Many go on to join us full-time to start their career. It's also a great way to join our Retail Graduate Scheme - last year, all 20 of the Graduates who started with us had previously been with us as Seasonal colleagues.

Weekend Flex

This is a part-time option that's great if you're at school, Uni or just looking to bump up your income with some weekend work. Weekend Flex means working at least 8 hours a week, which always includes weekend hours - this can be any time from 10pm Friday night through to 6am Monday morning. You also need to be willing to 'flex up' your hours if we need you during the week or for even more time at the weekend. You'll get plenty of the Asda training too when you start - and, of course, our Best Welcome induction.

Temporary Colleagues (Christmas)

In some of our stores, we often need a few extra pairs of hands at our very busy times. Working with us on a temporary basis, you'll be someone we can count on during our most demanding times of the year. Which mostly means you'll work with us during our busiest times - particularly at Christmas, when there's a real excitement and buzz in the store. It's hectic stuff where you'll be on your feet, taking care of customers when they need us most. Better still, you'll get Asda training, so you'll feel right at home. Fit in with us and you could be asked back again and again and again.
