One big team!

The range of roles in our stores is much wider than you ever imagined - from bakers and checkout operators, to pizza makers and drivers. You can also choose between full time or part time jobs to suit the way you live, or temporary roles when we need extra help during busy times and festive periods - whichever works best for you.

Working at Asda is great fun, and to love the job, you've got to like the way we do things - putting customers first, fast thinking, giving it your all and keeping a friendly face while being rushed off your feet. At Asda we don't just get the job done, we do it willingly and we do it well. And because we work so closely together as one big team, every one of us can keep getting better and better.

Different jobs, same objective

You'll be amazed by the huge variety of jobs that are going at Asda, and they all have one thing in common - the aim of providing a great shopping experience for all our customers. There are big stores, medium-sized stores, and a growing number of small-format 'convenience' Supermarkets. There are Asda Living stores. And there's our fast-growing Home Shopping service for online customers.

There are lots of different departments too - from Clothing (George) to Grocery, from Beers, Wines & Spirits to Music, Video & Games. There are Pharmacies, Photo shops and Opticians. There are jobs in front of the customer or behind the scenes. But wherever and whatever your role will be, you'll never lose sight of the reason we're here: to save our customers money, every single day.

Weekend Flex

Want to bump up your income with some weekend work? Then Weekend Flex is for you. This is a part time option which means working at least 8 hours a week, which always includes weekend hours. These can be any time from 10pm Friday night through to 6am Monday morning. You just need to be willing to 'flex up' your hours during our busiest periods if we need you during the week or for even more time at the weekend.

Temporary Colleagues (Christmas)

In some of our stores, we often need a few extra pairs of hands at our very busy times, like during Christmas for example. Working with us on a temporary basis, you'll be someone we can count on to be there when we need you the most. It's at these busiest times when there's a real excitement and buzz in the store. It's hectic stuff and you'll be on your feet taking care of customers and making sure they have exactly what they need. Don't worry, we'll give you all the Asda training you need so you'll feel right at home. Fit in with us and you could be asked back again and again and again!
