Hello I'm Maria and I work as an Out-Loader in ASDA Depot.

I've been in ASDA for four and half year. It was the first job I found in the UK and I haven't changed because I like it.

You start as a Picker then maybe you choose to do good and choose Out-Loading, then you go higher and higher to be the Manager anything you want.

It'll take you like one week to get all the training for loading, use a gun to scan all the stuff. How to load inside the lorry, how to put the bars in all the cages  on the pallets and everything. So that would take you, like, one week.

It's a physical job, so you won't stop you are not sitting down all day and that's a good thing. You make a team fit. You have to be a good team to make our work done on time. I suppose you want to have the best products and the best quality possible.

The best thing about working in ASDA is all the friend colleagues you can find. There's different nationalities. Like now I've got friends from Nepal. I have a lot of friends from Ghana, from Nigeria. I think this is good, you learn about different cultures. You stay on your work and you learn a lot.
