By working in partnership with ASDA, Remploy has already supported over a thousand disabled people and people with a health condition to forge ahead with a new career as an ASDA colleague, and they could help you too.

Remploy has a network of 34 high street branches across the UK, all equipped with the resources you need to help you find the right job. Remploy's friendly and experienced employment advisors offer completely free and confidential advice on every aspect of finding a job, from completing our online application to supporting you through the interview and selection process.

You'll also benefit from a tailored package of support, development and training, designed to meet your individual needs and give you the skills we are looking for.

And the support Remploy offers doesn't end when you get a job. If you want them to they'll also work closely with you and your new employer to make sure you settle in to your new role and make the most of your new career.

Asda and Jobcentre Plus

At different times in your life you may need extra advice and support. Jobcentre Plus can offer you this and more. Whether you are a lone parent, have a disability, you're finishing school or college, are over 50, or simply out of work, there's practical help available. The jobseeker homepage is full of great information to help guide you in your next steps forward.

Asda have a really effective partnership with the Jobcentre Plus. At a national level we collaberate with the JCP who help us to understand the job market and how Asda can support initiatives to help the unemployed.

Support with Online Recruitment Processes
Most organisations advertise job vacancies online and of course, Asda are no exception. To apply online you will need to have internet access and your own email address. The 'Applying for a job online' helpful information pages on the Jobcentre Plus website give you easy 'How to' instructions for each stage of a typical online application.

Finding Internet Access
For those who don't have internet access at home, check with your nearest Jobcentre Plus office to see what is available in your local area. You could also use UK online centres which are based in your community. Find your nearest centre by calling 0800 771234. Even your local library may have computers which have free internet access.

Further advice is available that could help get you to and through your interview. Programme Centres and Travel to Interview are just two examples of our Programmes and Services that have been designed with you in mind.

Voluntary Work Placements
Work placements give you a chance to find out more about a career that you may be considering and Asda offers a huge range of placements that can help you.

The opportunity to get some practical experience and talk to people who already do the job will give you a better idea of what's involved and also can also help you stand out when applying for courses and jobs. You may also meet some good contacts who could help you to get the job that you are aiming for in the future.

Work That Suits Your Needs
For those who can't work full time, there are other options. You could get a temporary appointment, work part-time hours or arrange flexible working arrangements including term-time opportunities. There are plenty of options to ensure your working life fits in and balances with all your other commitments. Jobcentre Plus can help you into work in a number of ways.

Jobcentre Plus can also organise Training opportunities to ensure you have the best possible support in your pre employment development, and allow you to truly achieve your potential.
