Product Development Manager in the Financial Services Team

Hi, I’m Katie.

I’ve worked in ASDA House in Leeds since November 2007 as a Product Development Manager for financial products.

My role involves overseeing every aspect of the particular financial products which I am responsible for. I make sure that they comply with all the financial regulations, are attractive to our customers and are promoted well enough to achieve maximum sales.

My role brings me into contact with a huge range of people from Solicitors to colleagues in a wide variety of teams and from the suppliers of the financial products to the marketing agencies which we use to promote them.

Being able to communicate well on all these different levels is a key aspect of my role, along with a real passion for success – and the ability to juggle a number of projects at any one time.

Before joining ASDA I worked in an out of town office so now I’m really appreciating being in the heart of Leeds with so much to do right on the doorstep. I’ve just moved into a new house so it’s also good to have plenty of reasons to get out and forget about the DIY for a while!
