A. Our 2010 programmes are open for applications from 1st October 2009 until 1st March 2010. Places are limited, so students should apply early as we wouldn’t want them to miss out.
A. We do consider a student’s educational background, but just as importantly we also take into account any work experience and life outside of university. They may have been travelling, been involved in volunteer work or worked at a local school – we’re interested in students who are passionate about what they do.
A. We’re really interested in the future careers of your students. However, due to the enormous amount of interest in us, we’re unable to provide feedback to everyone. Instead we promise to provide feedback to candidates who attend one of our Reality assessment centres and any that get through to final interview stage.
A. People with a real passion for retail and customer service. Future leaders of our business with enthusiasm, drive and a will to succeed. Team players, as teamwork is at the heart of everything we do.
In short, our graduate programme is a fast track to senior management. It’s not an easy ride, it’s often very challenging and fast paced, but we guarantee it’s always lots of fun!
Graduates who are interested in the retail and distribution graduate schemes must be prepared to be nationally mobile.
A. Please read our website to find out more about us, and our graduate programmes. Talk to your students about Asda and encourage them to visit our websites and our stores to learn about the way we do things, and to see if Asda is a place they’d like to work. Let them know they can apply online at www.asda.jobs/graduates from 1st October 2009.
A. We’ll get back to your students at every stage. We’ll give feedback to your students at the assessment centre stage.
