A 12 month Industrial Placement, or a shorter internship, can give you a priceless insight into our business, and an inside track onto our Graduate scheme. And because you get treated as part of the team and given real responsibility to deliver crucial business tasks, you'll find out whether retail really is the right choice for you. If it is, you've given yourself a head start. If it isn't, you've saved your career from making a false start. So it's a good move, whichever way you look at it.

We currently run 12 month Industrial Placements in Finance, Trading, Supply Chain, Food Technology and Trading Law. In Finance there is also a Summer Internship programme. All are based at Asda House, our head office in Leeds.

The entry criteria and online application processes are the same as for the full Graduate Training programme. As you progress you can expect regular reviews offering advice, support and feedback on your performance, keeping you moving in the right direction. At the end of the year there'll be an interview with your line manager. If we think you're right for us and you think we're right for you we'll make you a conditional offer to join our Graduate scheme if you get at least a 2:1 Honours degree.
